Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Franklin Diniz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jarbas Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the game, VSKG Esporte Clube's Jarbas Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Luís Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Benjamin Toscano took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Gustavo Catarinense. Luís Gustavo Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of VSKG Esporte Clube booed when S.E. Los Bigodes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes S.E. Los Bigodes got a freekick which was hit by György Cseh. If Franklin Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to S.E. Los Bigodes getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. György Cseh hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Hílton Vergílio notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of VSKG Esporte Clube's Luís Gustavo Catarinense. Luís Gustavo Catarinense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Franklin Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Gustavo Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

63 minutes into the match, VSKG Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Duarte came free, but Luís Gustavo Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aloísio Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Luís Gustavo Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Penha in the 78th minute of play. Luís Gustavo Catarinense came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by S.E. Los Bigodes's György Cseh. But to his dismay, György Cseh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Benjamin Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hílton Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Catarinense having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Narciso Trancoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VSKG Esporte Clube and the S.E. Los Bigodes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes VSKG Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Trancoso. In the 94th minute, Marquinhos Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the S.E. Los Bigodes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
