Marcelo Leme made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Carlos Alberto Prado sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th match minute, Candeia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Prado to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Legião Futebol Clube booed when Candeia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavinho Mandrak's late challenge caught a Candeia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
