But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that György Cseh couldn't finish the play. Severino Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Toscano in the 24th minute of the match. Kléber de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Marquinhos Duarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.R.FLAMENGO's Severino Cavalcante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute Benjamin Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Cavalcante. C.R.FLAMENGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marquinhos Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Los Bigodes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
