After 19 played minutes Anderson das Neves rounded Restos de Aborto's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Cristian Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Branco having to interfere. Monte Azul Crows's Jonathan Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Pinheiro in the 27th minute of play. Leandro Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Branco having to interfere. Cristian Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jonathan Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anderson das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Vitinho Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Restos de Aborto's zone, Anderson das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitinho Veiga came out of the goal and Anderson das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Pinheiro to make the kick off. With his leg Jonathan Branco managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Restos de Aborto's Cristian Soeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 66 minutes into the game, Wilton Simões was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monte Azul Crows's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Restos de Aborto the free kick. In the 67th match minute, Monte Azul Crows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Simões to maneuver through the defense. Restos de Aborto's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 68th minute of the game, when Geovanni Arce after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Monte Azul Crows's goal. Geovanni Arce was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jânio de Toledo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jânio de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Cristian Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Alexandre Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monte Azul Crows's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitinho Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anderson das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Restos de Aborto's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson das Neves came free, but Vitinho Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anderson das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vitinho Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anderson das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Monte Azul Crows's Alexandre Figueiredo in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Restos de Aborto's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson das Neves in the 93rd minute of play forced Restos de Aborto's goalkeeper Vitinho Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Branco having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Monte Azul Crows players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
