Magno Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dalmo Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perivaldo Ramalho hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Magno Zanette made a precise shot to the right of Dalmo Cearense. Paramoti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 25 minutes into the game, Elite Guarulhos FC's Magno Zanette nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmo Cearense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Magno Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Délio Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Perivaldo Ramalho fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paramoti's protests and gave Perivaldo Ramalho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Paramoti getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Perivaldo Ramalho hit a great ball. Dalmo Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Magno Zanette made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Elite Guarulhos FC's Magno Zanette ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dalmo Cearense. Dalmo Cearense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 60 minutes into the match, Paramoti's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Zanette came free, but Dalmo Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osmar Dias hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Oscar Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paramoti's Dalmo Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Zanette in the 85th minute of play. Magno Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dalmo Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Paramoti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. When Magno Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Elite Guarulhos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magno Zanette couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Paramoti booed when Elite Guarulhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raí de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murilo Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Elite Guarulhos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Elite Guarulhos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
