Spectators: 7005 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rony Quintal made the kick off which started today's match. The audience was convinced that Rony Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olavo Varela was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Amauri Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Varela having to interfere. In the 7th minute Rony Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Porcos SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. Jerônimo Mandrak hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Walmyr Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Atlético-PR's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amauri Mandrak fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Olavo Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Atlético-PR's Olavo Varela got control of the ball when Amauri Mandrak tried to sneak it across the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Porcos SC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Rodrigues came free, but Walmyr Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute, Germano Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Rony Quintal made a precise shot to the right of Olavo Varela. Atlético-PR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Erivaldo Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute.
