Artur Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Gustavo de Amorim having to interfere. Ediberto Batista scored 1-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Gustavo de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Lago in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Gustavo de Amorim saved Bola Bola FC from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Váldson Seco was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Gustavo de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Lago in the 56th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, one of CapellerFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 93rd minute, the referee gave Bola Bola FC a penalty. Dino Martins looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Válter de Sousa. In the 98th minute Luizinho Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Gustavo de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fabiano Tasso fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bola Bola FC's protests and gave Fabiano Tasso a yellow card for diving instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
