The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cleiton Furlan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Souto in the 90th minute of play forced Máquina Mortífera S.C's goalkeeper Cleiton Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Giga Mix F.C's Paulo da Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cleiton Furlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The Máquina Mortífera S.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Máquina Mortífera S.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
