Spectators: 7276 (Terracing: 5492, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Korneliusz Dziatkowski started the match with the kick off. André de Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Itaperuna-RJ booed when Dominion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Paulista in the 11th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Itaperuna-RJ got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Simões. Rodolfo Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Paulista in the 20th minute of the match. Rodolfo Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Dominion's zone, Fred Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Ramalho came out of the goal and Fred Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Dominion's Rodolfo Ramalho got control of the ball when Nicolas Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodolfo Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by André de Moraes in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Brito got free with Rodolfo Ramalho in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Ramalho having to interfere. Fred Paulista struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Rodolfo Ramalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaperuna-RJ. 42 minutes into the match, Dominion's goal looked a bit too open when André de Moraes came free, but Rodolfo Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itaperuna-RJ's Mateus Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Dziatkowski in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nicolas Brito made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Brito in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Ramalho saved Dominion from getting behind. Rodolfo Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Brito in the 57th minute of the match. Rodolfo Ramalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Brito went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Dominion's Adalberto Quintal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Toninho Alcântara, made in the 67th minute of the game. Dominion's Rodolfo Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Paulista in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Paulista in the 70th minute of play forced Dominion's goalkeeper Rodolfo Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 87th minute, Fred Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
