Claudinho Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Guedes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinho Queirós ran back to his position shaking his head. Felipe Munhoz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Blauth's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Cunha came free, but Diego Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blauth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chico Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evandro Cunha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Diego Guedes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Diego Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evandro Cunha in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Blauth's zone, Claudinho Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Guedes came out of the goal and Claudinho Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evandro Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Guedes having to make a save. 67 minutes into the match, Blauth's goalkeeper Diego Guedes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evandro Cunha. After a rather tough play, Blauth's Jaime Souto got a free kick in the 70th minute. The Máquina Mortífera S.C fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Máquina Mortífera S.C's Evandro Cunha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
