Cauã Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto do Nascimento having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kauan da Rocha made a kick off. Kauan da Rocha in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thiago Pontes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 52nd minute, Delfim de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, José Maria da Cunha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thiago Pontes. The goal made the score 0-7. Kauan da Rocha had several of the Piranhas's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Thiago Pontes as he didn't even see the shot coming. José Maria da Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Maria da Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the game, Delfim de Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piranhas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EC Ajax SRCB the free kick. The supporters of Piranhas booed when EC Ajax SRCB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Dorival Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Piranhas's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria da Cunha came free, but Thiago Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauan da Rocha in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. EC Ajax SRCB played a much better game than Piranhas and deserved their victory. The Piranhas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
