Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Paulo Domingues started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mundeus's Reginaldo Falcão got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Edmílson Trigo, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 10th minute, Romeu Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Wilian Capixaba made a precise shot to the right of Gugu Leme. Mundeus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Teodoro de Godoi struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Agnaldo Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mundeus. After 20 minutes, João Paulo Domingues made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mundeus's Gugu Leme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Paulo Domingues in the 27th minute of play forced Mundeus's goalkeeper Gugu Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Franklin Quintal fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Agnaldo Mello, passed just outside the right post. After 31 played minutes Mundeus got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Albuquerque. Mundeus's Gugu Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Capixaba in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Paulo Domingues in the 35th minute of play forced Mundeus's goalkeeper Gugu Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agnaldo Mello made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Teodoro de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. João Paulo Domingues scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gugu Leme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franklin Quintal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Mundeus's Franklin Quintal in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vila FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Franklin Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Agnaldo Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vila FC's Juan de Carvalho got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Vila FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro de Godoi came free, but Agnaldo Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, Mundeus's Franklin Quintal made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agnaldo Mello was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute Teodoro de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnaldo Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Agnaldo Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Paulo Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilian Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agnaldo Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro de Godoi in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute João Paulo Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gugu Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Juan de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vila FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
