But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Mineiro couldn't finish the play.

If João Paulo Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Tactics DC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Novaes came free, but Olívio Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tactics DC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vila FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Marcel Lima scored to the left of an out of position Agnaldo Mello, making the score, 0-4. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tactics DC's goalkeeper Olívio Maciel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronaldinho dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Kléber Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Vila FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tactics DC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
