After 2 played minutes Mundeus got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Amaral. 6 minutes into the match, Mundeus's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Arce came free, but Gugu Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gugu Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gugu Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Romeu Paulista fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mundeus's protests and gave Romeu Paulista a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of All Castilha booed when Mundeus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeu Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mundeus's Gugu Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Furlan in the 11th minute of play. Cássio Lara was a little too slow when Franklin Quintal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. All Castilha's attentive Sandrinho Marques managed to snatch the ball when Adriano Albuquerque made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. When All Castilha's Jailson Furlan in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mundeus's goalie prevented a goal. Ciro Valle hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by Teodoro de Godoi from a close distance when the talented Cássio Lara managed to make a qualified save. All Castilha's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ciro Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. All Castilha's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gugu Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jailson Furlan took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gugu Leme. Gugu Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gugu Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Furlan in the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, All Castilha's Cássio Lara got control of the ball when Teodoro de Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the All Castilha defense, Teodoro de Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Lara. The All Castilha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Lara should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franklin Quintal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Mundeus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio Simões to maneuver through the defense. After 52 minutes of play, All Castilha's Jailson Furlan made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gugu Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute, Jailson Furlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The All Castilha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After some careless play in the All Castilha defense, Franklin Quintal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Lara. The All Castilha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Lara should have stopped the shot. Eusébio Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Leme having to interfere. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mundeus's goalkeeper Gugu Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciro Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Délio Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro de Godoi in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Bernardinho Passos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciro Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gugu Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeu Paulista scored 4-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 minutes, Délio Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mundeus and the All Castilha players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mundeus getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Délio Simões hit a great ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Eusébio Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All Castilha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mundeus's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
