Emerson de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério Mineiro in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute Rogério Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tactics DC's Jefferson Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Yan Breckenfeld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emerson de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Mineiro's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Tactics DC's Jefferson Trigo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emerson de Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério Mineiro in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Tactics DC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Aloísio Maranhense hit a great ball. If Rogério Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Emerson de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Mineiro in the 57th minute of the match. Rogério Mineiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emerson de Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Gorutuba Futebol Clube booed when Tactics DC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Gorutuba Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Lopes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jefferson Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tactics DC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Trigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogério Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Yan Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Tactics DC played a much better game than Gorutuba Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Gorutuba Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
