Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 0) Tostão Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Pedrinho Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tostão Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Young FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tostão Pombal couldn't finish the play. Tostão Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Toledo having to interfere. Pedrinho Tepedino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvaldo Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Pedrinho Tepedino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvaldo Toledo having to make a save. If Pedrinho Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luan Urbano in the 28th minute of play forced Young FC's goalkeeper Armandinho Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match, Tostão Pombal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edvaldo Toledo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Andrézinho Pernambucano scored 1-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvaldo Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. S.E.R. LAÍNI's Edvaldo Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Pombal in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Pernambucano in the 43rd minute of play forced S.E.R. LAÍNI's goalkeeper Edvaldo Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Young FC's Tostão Pombal got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edvaldo Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tostão Pombal made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Pedrinho Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Young FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Tostão Pombal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E.R. LAÍNI's Edvaldo Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Young FC's Armandinho Freire got control of the ball when Renan Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvaldo Toledo came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Young FC's Waldemar Paulista. But to his dismay, Waldemar Paulista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 72nd minute Andrézinho Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tostão Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, S.E.R. LAÍNI's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Tepedino came free, but Edvaldo Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pedrinho Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvaldo Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tostão Pombal's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Pedrinho Tepedino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvaldo Toledo having to make a save. José Vítor Bezerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edvaldo Toledo. S.E.R. LAÍNI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Vito Paiva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edvaldo Toledo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 4-0 became the score in the 96th minute when Tostão Pombal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
