After a rather tough play, Gorutuba Futebol Clube's Yan Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 30th minute. But to his dismay, Jarbas de Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Emerson de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarbas de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes Gorutuba Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Ian Lopes. If Vivaldo Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarbas de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson de Almeida having to interfere. Jerônimo Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Costa in the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Roberto Furtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Roberto Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Roberto Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Godoi in the 85th minute of the match. The BLACKPINK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Furtado should have stopped the shot. Many of BLACKPINK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. BLACKPINK may have spent more time on the ball, but Gorutuba Futebol Clube were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
