Vladimir Branco started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Apiacás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Nóbrega. After 19 played minutes Arrelia AD got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim Queiroz. In the 22nd minute, Reynaldo Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 29 played minutes Apiacás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Arí Amaral. After a rather tough play, Apiacás Esporte Clube's Renan Guimarães got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Dieguinho Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serginho Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Branco in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelsinho Peres made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Apiacás Esporte Clube's Reynaldo Domingues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kryspin Osowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A hard shot 54 in the game by Dieguinho Albuquerque from a close distance when the talented Serginho Bittencourt managed to make a qualified save. Apiacás Esporte Clube's players were relieved. Allan Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Kryspin Osowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Domingues went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Nelsinho Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Osowski having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Reynaldo Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apiacás Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kryspin Osowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Reynaldo Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nelsinho Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kryspin Osowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nelsinho Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Apiacás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Nóbrega. Nelsinho Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Apiacás Esporte Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
