Guto Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Barreto in the 16th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Percy Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mazinho Marques was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Laranjeiras FC's zone, Hílton Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mazinho Marques came out of the goal and Hílton Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute Percy Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Game Over FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Antunes to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes, Laranjeiras FC's Dorival Pinheiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guto Tróia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laranjeiras FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Game Over FC's zone, Jarbas Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guto Tróia came out of the goal and Jarbas Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Laranjeiras FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Game Over FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jarbas Barreto was the one to do the kick off. Fernandinho Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Guto Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Fernandinho Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mazinho Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Silva in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Percy Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Game Over FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Catarinense came free, but Guto Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Enrique Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Laranjeiras FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Game Over FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Game Over FC.
