Túlio Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nelsinho Peres went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 26 minutes, Robinho Leite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bocayuval and the Apiacás Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Apiacás Esporte Clube booed when Bocayuval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinho Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serginho Bittencourt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilian Galvão's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Reynaldo Domingues got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Apiacás Esporte Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
