The audience thought a goal was coming when Hílton Massa got free with Rafael Schmidt in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Game Over FC's Guto Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Brodel in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Geovânio Rodrigues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. If Geovânio Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liga Palhocense's Rafael Schmidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Liga Palhocense from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgilio Blum made a kick off. Geovânio Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Guto Tróia made a huge save. In the last second Guto Tróia throw himself and got hold of the ball when Virgilio Blum in the 58thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Guto Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Blum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Liga Palhocense's goal looked a bit too open when Percy Silva came free, but Rafael Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Virgilio Blum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Game Over FC's Enio Antunes got a free kick in the 75th minute. Geovânio Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
