With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vânderson Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Sophia AJ Clube getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Manuel Netto hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Adelino Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelsinho Cosme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Vânderson Borges was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juvenal Tinoco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. In the 81st minute, Adelino Madureira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sophia AJ Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After some careless play in the Sophia AJ Clube defense, Konrad Czech kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Baptista. The Sophia AJ Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Baptista should have stopped the shot.
