Alpinino FC's Celsinho Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias França in the 3rd minute of play. The referee ignored Alpinino FC's protests and gave Elano de Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alpinino FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Elano de Mendonça hit a great ball. After 5 minutes, Paulão Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpinino FC and the Iguai FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Alpinino FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Senna. Celsinho Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias França in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Iguai FC's Mazinho Dionísio got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Alpinino FC's Tiago Gabriel Batista in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rafinha Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio de Alcântara in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Tiago Pontes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Celsinho Matorin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Alpinino FC booed when Iguai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cláudio de Alcântara to make the kick off. Elano de Mendonça hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Zé Roberto Paranaense sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alpinino FC's Celsinho Matorin didn't even have to move. Tiago Pontes struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Celsinho Matorin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iguai FC. Iguai FC's Rafinha Zonta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Iguai FC from getting a goal against them. Alpinino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Gabriel Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celsinho Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Pontes in the 82nd minute of the match. Tiago Gabriel Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Rafinha Zonta made a huge save. 88 minutes into the match, Iguai FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Zonta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Gabriel Batista. Cláudio de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rafinha Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alpinino FC's Luís Fabiano Dracena got a free kick in the 97th minute.
