In the 21st minute, Ezequiel Soeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Kushikime defense, Luizão Loyola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian de Alcântara. The Kushikime fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. César Rocha struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Bebeto Zonta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kushikime. With a little luck, Labimec FC's Bebeto Zonta got control of the ball when Luís Fabiano de Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 49th minute, César Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kushikime fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

If Chiquinho de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian de Alcântara was a little too slow when Ciro Xavier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 68th minute, one of Labimec FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Labimec FC. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Kushikime. Samuca Alvarenga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bebeto Zonta. 2-4. Ciro Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chiquinho de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Zonta having to interfere. After 80 minutes, Ulysses Recife mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kushikime and the Labimec FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Labimec FC's Nildo Veiga tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. César Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 98 played minutes Kushikime got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano de Barros. Cristian de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Soeiro in the 100th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Labimec FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
