Iguai FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Matías Trigo scored to the left of an out of position Rafinha Zonta, making the score, 1-0. Oséias França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Vaz having to interfere. When Rubinho Chaves fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mundurucus FC's protests and gave Rubinho Chaves a yellow card for diving instead. Mundurucus FC's Toninho Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias França in the 21st minute of play. Mundurucus FC's Matías Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matías Trigo in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafinha Zonta saved Iguai FC from getting behind. Mazinho Dionísio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Tiago Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Pontes in the 34th minute of play forced Mundurucus FC's goalkeeper Toninho Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafinha Zonta was a little too slow when Matías Trigo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. Mundurucus FC's Luisão Bezerra got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Caco Mineiro made a precise shot to the right of Rafinha Zonta. Iguai FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oséias França to strike the kick off in the second half. Luisão Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Mundurucus FC's Luisão Bezerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafinha Zonta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Iguai FC's Rafinha Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Bezerra in the 65th minute of play. Júlio Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Luisão Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafinha Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Matías Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafinha Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Mundurucus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias França came free, but Toninho Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafinha Zonta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisão Bezerra's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Mundurucus FC's Matías Trigo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Matías Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Zonta having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Mundurucus FC's Matías Trigo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafinha Zonta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Iguai FC's zone, Luisão Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafinha Zonta came out of the goal and Luisão Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelinho Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelinho Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Marcelinho Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Mundurucus FC were the better team. Mundurucus FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
