Juninho Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Telmo Alcântara in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Guaxinim's goal looked a bit too open when João Paulo Correia came free, but Frederik Rauen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rômulo da Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frederik Rauen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Esporte Clube Guaxinim's Frederik Rauen got control of the ball when João Paulo Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute Rômulo da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
