An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Trigo in the 6th minute of play forced Labimec FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Labimec FC's Bebeto Zonta got control of the ball when Luisão Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luizão Loyola's late challenge caught a Mundurucus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luizão Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. Mundurucus FC's Enio Couto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Labimec FC. 13 minutes into the game, Manuel Zanette was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mundurucus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Labimec FC the free kick. 13 minutes into the game, one of Mundurucus FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 17 played minutes Labimec FC got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Loyola. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisão Bezerra got free with Bebeto Zonta in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Labimec FC's Bebeto Zonta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Labimec FC from getting a goal against them. Matías Trigo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Mundurucus FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 27 minutes into the match, Matías Trigo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bebeto Zonta, 1-1. In the 35th minute Inácio Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Ciro Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Mundurucus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Xavier came free, but Toninho Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Soeiro made a kick off. If Luisão Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Vaz having to interfere. In the 65th minute Luisão Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Ezequiel Soeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mundurucus FC's Toninho Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Mundurucus FC from getting a goal against them. Bebeto Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Labimec FC's zone, Luisão Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bebeto Zonta came out of the goal and Luisão Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bebeto Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Bezerra in the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mundurucus FC's zone, Ezequiel Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Vaz came out of the goal and Ezequiel Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Labimec FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
