Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nicolas Botelho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nicolas Botelho struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Claudinei Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caraubas SS. Richard Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Toledo in the 7th minute of the match. Richard Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos Palmeira in the 11th minute of play forced Caraubas SS's goalkeeper Richard Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tricoloucos FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Edgard Veloso hit a great ball. After 22 minutes, Arlindo Quintal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tricoloucos FC and the Caraubas SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Arlindo Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Caraubas SS defense, Zé Carlos Palmeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Reis. The Caraubas SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Reis should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Toledo during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgard Veloso got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Tricoloucos FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Edgard Veloso hit a great ball. Richard Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Caraubas SS's Richard Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Caraubas SS from getting a goal against them. Richard Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Marques in the 58th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Zé Carlos Palmeira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard Reis. That made the score 1-2 in the 59 minute of play. Richard Reis came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tricoloucos FC's Zé Carlos Palmeira. But to his dismay, Zé Carlos Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 66th minute, Davi Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo Quintal might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arlindo Quintal ran back to his position shaking his head. When Dinei Mesquita fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caraubas SS's protests and gave Dinei Mesquita a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Caraubas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Tricoloucos FC's Ernesto Toledo in action when he in the 75th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Richard Reis made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Humberto Marques sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the game, Zé Carlos Palmeira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Richard Reis. Zé Carlos Palmeira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Richard Reis was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Humberto Marques capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Humberto Marques really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Zé Carlos Palmeira took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Richard Reis to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over Tricoloucos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caraubas SS throughout the match.
