Lentilha FC's Luís Fabiano Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Gomes in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Waldemar Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patcha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Dionísio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Quintal in the 44th minute of play forced Patcha FC's goalkeeper Naldo Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léo Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Patcha FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Léo Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armandinho Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Léo Gomes in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fabiano Guedes saved Lentilha FC from getting behind. Waldemar Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Waldemar Dionísio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Luís Fabiano Guedes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 82nd minute, Ronaldão Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute of the match Enéas Pontes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Fabiano Guedes skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, Patcha FC's Luís Fabiano Guedes threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Léo Gomes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dito Abreu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Patcha FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Patcha FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
