The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After recieving a nice pass, Tricoloucos FC's Edgard Veloso tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rubinho Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Magno Mendonça was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yugoslavia Legacy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tricoloucos FC the free kick. A collision led to Yugoslavia Legacy getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Magno Mendonça hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Yugoslavia Legacy's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Marques came free, but Dedé Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Baltazar Rocha notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tricoloucos FC's Claudinei Vidal. Claudinei Vidal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aílton Lira got free with Claudinei Vidal in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ernesto Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tricoloucos FC's protests and gave Ernesto Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tricoloucos FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Baltazar Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinei Vidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Humberto Marques scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dedé Tepedino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Toledo to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Yugoslavia Legacy's Rubinho Albuquerque nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinei Vidal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. A collision led to Tricoloucos FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Fred Queiroz hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Rubinho Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Carlos Palmeira during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes Tricoloucos FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Palmeira. After 79 minutes of play Tricoloucos FC's Zé Carlos Palmeira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 80 played minutes Tricoloucos FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Palmeira. After recieving a nice pass, Yugoslavia Legacy's Charles Moura tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Humberto Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Rubinho Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yugoslavia Legacy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubinho Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yugoslavia Legacy were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
