Oséas Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Wesley Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão de Salles in the 17th minute of play. If Dalmo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Titanium FC's zone, Oswaldo Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Velloso came out of the goal and Oswaldo Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joana's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Faustão de Salles scored to the left of an out of position Wesley Baptista, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Titanium FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jonathan Messias hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Arósio in the 38th minute of play forced Titanium FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iuri Coelho during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Titanium FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Joana's Dalmo Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eriberto Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Wesley Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Jonathan Messias came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Titanium FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Messias couldn't finish the play. In the 54th match minute, Joana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Oswaldo Arósio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Velloso having to interfere. Oséas Cardozo charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséas Cardozo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Joana getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Oséas Cardozo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Joana's Simão Brasil got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute Oswaldo Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oswaldo Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmo Cruz took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Velloso. Eriberto Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 90 minutes into the game, Simão Brasil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Titanium FC the free kick. Jonathan Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Joana's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
