When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Rogério Peixoto sped through Mauriti FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iuri Mendes.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Luís Severo to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Lima got free with Iuri Mendes in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th match minute, Mauriti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Iuri Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Durval Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Mendes having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Juarês Donatello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hendi Raturandang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Juarês Donatello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ricardo Oliveira Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mauriti FC the free kick. A collision led to Ricardo Oliveira Club getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Juarês Donatello hit a great ball. If Rogério Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Mauriti FC's goalkeeper Iuri Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Durval Lima. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogério Peixoto in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iuri Mendes saved Mauriti FC from getting behind. When the match was over Ricardo Oliveira Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mauriti FC throughout the match.
