Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) Bezerras SS's Murillo Simões started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rodriguinho Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. If Murillo Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the game, Bezerras SS's Artur Botelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evandro Rosado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Carlos Alberto Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Raúl Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Artur Botelho made a precise shot to the right of Evandro Rosado. Dragão Mecânico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Dragão Mecânico's Carlos Alberto Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 minutes of play, Dragão Mecânico's Víktor Chaves made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raúl Velasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Alberto Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dragão Mecânico's goalkeeper Evandro Rosado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Murillo Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Evandro Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Murillo Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raúl Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Chaves in the 38th minute of play. If Murillo Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Víktor Chaves made a kick off. Carlos Alberto Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Velasco having to interfere. Evandro Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo Simões in the 55th minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Víktor Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gil Cordeiro during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bezerras SS booed when Dragão Mecânico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Dragão Mecânico's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Simões came free, but Evandro Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murillo Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Rosado having to interfere. Evandro Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Dragão Mecânico's Víktor Chaves got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, Bezerras SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percy Sena to maneuver through the defense. Raúl Velasco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. 94 minutes into the game, Artur Botelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Evandro Rosado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bezerras SS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
