After a defensive mix-up in Thiaguera F.C's zone, Valdo Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquinhos Cunha came out of the goal and Valdo Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luizinho Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Afonso Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Rocha struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Afonso Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thiaguera F.C. Sílvio Luiz Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Bernardo Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Afonso Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Thiaguera F.C's Bernardo Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonso Urbano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Luiz Brasil made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Afonso Carvalho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Afonso Urbano. Afonso Carvalho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. If Bernardo Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, S.E.Bergamini - FDFDF's Everton Ribeiro got a free kick in the 57th minute. Pedro Augusto Lopez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Valdo Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thiaguera F.C's Marquinhos Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute Bernardo Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Rocha in the 65th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E.Bergamini - FDFDF's goalkeeper Afonso Urbano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Thiaguera F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
