After 3 played minutes Dragão Mecânico got a freekick which was hit by André Rosado. The long shot by Elivélton Moreno in the 4th minute really tested Evandro Rosado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 7th minute, Ivo Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Víktor Chaves made a precise shot to the right of Silvinho Custódio. Prazeres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If João Pedro Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Carlos Alberto Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragão Mecânico's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Alberto Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvinho Custódio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If João Pedro Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivo Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Prazeres got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Soares. Silvinho Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víktor Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evandro Rosado made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Pedro Neto in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Chicão Chaves had to leave the field with a concussion. After 28 minutes, André Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragão Mecânico and the Prazeres players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dragão Mecânico's André Rosado got a free kick in the 29th minute. João Pedro Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Evandro Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Prazeres booed when Dragão Mecânico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Pedro Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Alberto Moreira struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Silvinho Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragão Mecânico. Víktor Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Pedro Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Evandro Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davi Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Prazeres's Silvinho Custódio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Prazeres from getting a goal against them. Carlos Alberto Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Dragão Mecânico's goal looked a bit too open when João Pedro Neto came free, but Evandro Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodriguinho Varela during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ivo Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Davi Catarinense sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Prazeres's Silvinho Custódio didn't even have to move. Dragão Mecânico were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Prazeres's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Davi Catarinense took the corner. The corner ended in Davi Catarinense almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Prazeres's Silvinho Custódio did a great save. Evandro Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Neto in the 96th minute of play. The Dragão Mecânico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dragão Mecânico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
