The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Soares got free with Alan Melo in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Coelho's late challenge caught a ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Enamung SS's Francisco Coelho got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Stancho Hadzhiminev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Vítor Guerra struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Alan Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF. Stancho Hadzhiminev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alan Melo having to make a save. When Josu Lijo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 59th minute of the match Murilo Rodrigues sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Belmiro Fernandez skillfully saved the ball. When Douglas Soares came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Soares couldn't finish the play. If José Vítor Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Enamung SS's zone, Stancho Hadzhiminev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Melo came out of the goal and Stancho Hadzhiminev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Enamung SS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gero Mitos took the corner. If Stancho Hadzhiminev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Melo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Vítor Guerra's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Stancho Hadzhiminev might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan Melo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stancho Hadzhiminev ran back to his position shaking his head. 94 minutes into the game, Murilo Rodrigues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enamung SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF the free kick. After 94 played minutes Enamung SS got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Rodrigues. ILHA COMPRIDA SP CF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
