Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Campestre's Carlinhos Alcântara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nando Zonta came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Papuda FC's Serafim Leme. But to his dismay, Serafim Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Serafim Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Papuda FC's Ezequiel Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serafim Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Papuda FC's Serafim Leme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nando Zonta. In the 59th minute of the match Ian Dias sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nando Zonta skillfully saved the ball. Tadeu Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Mattos having to interfere. But to his dismay, Carlinhos Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.
