Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 40) Biqsso FC's Sílvio de Brito started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Nelsinho Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th match minute, Biqsso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 12thth minute of the game Pedro Valadares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Biqsso FC's Angelo Barreto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. São Paulo F.C's Adrianinho Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When São Paulo F.C's Adrianinho Urbano in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as São Paulo F.C's Adrianinho Urbano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Barreto. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, São Paulo F.C's Nelsinho Penha got a free kick in the 39th minute. Orlando de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Gomes having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Miguel Rezende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Valadares hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrianinho Urbano was the one to do the kick off. Miguel Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vágner Gomes was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Sílvio de Brito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sílvio de Brito really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Pedro Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With his leg Vágner Gomes managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Biqsso FC's Sílvio de Brito fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Angelo Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Urbano in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Paulo Gerber during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zé Paulo Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Biqsso FC's Marcus Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Velloso in the 71st minute of play forced Biqsso FC's goalkeeper Angelo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Vágner Gomes managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Biqsso FC's Sílvio de Brito fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adrianinho Urbano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Barreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute Zeca Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Sílvio de Brito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vágner Gomes, 1-2. Biqsso FC's Angelo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Velloso in the 91st minute of play. Adrianinho Urbano might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Barreto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrianinho Urbano ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
