In the 4th minute, Eugênio Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Arthur Albuquerque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Arthur Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the St. Katherine s Docks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. After 11 played minutes Pageu got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Mineiro. A hard shot 12 in the game by Arthur Albuquerque from a close distance when the talented Daniel Fernandes managed to make a qualified save. Pageu's players were relieved. If Amauri Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robinho Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Fernandes having to interfere. When Patrick Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pageu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Travassos couldn't finish the play. Robinho Sarmento took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Fernandes. Daniel Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Geraldo Siqueira took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Montenegro. Renan Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Renan Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Siqueira in the 37th minute of play. Daniel Fernandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arthur Albuquerque in the 44th minute. The supporters of St. Katherine s Docks booed when Pageu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Fernandes came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by St. Katherine s Docks's Robinho Sarmento. But to his dismay, Robinho Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geraldo Siqueira was the one to do the kick off. Robinho Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Daniel Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Pageu's Patrick Travassos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renan Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Arthur Albuquerque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Siqueira in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan Montenegro saved St. Katherine s Docks from getting behind. Geraldo Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Montenegro having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pageu's goalkeeper Daniel Fernandes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Patrick Travassos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renan Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Travassos got free with Renan Montenegro in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Pageu's Geraldo Siqueira in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
