Oswaldo Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. José Augusto Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when SC Antares's Sandro Falcão in the 12th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Angelo Galvão was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Laka Futebol Clube through an amazing save. Benê Guedes succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Oswaldo Garcia struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. José Augusto Koehler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laka Futebol Clube. After a defensive mix-up in Laka Futebol Clube's zone, Benê Guedes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Galvão came out of the goal and Benê Guedes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Sandro Falcão took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Angelo Galvão to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Antares's Sandro Falcão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Galvão. That made the score 3-0 after 43 minutes of play. After 46 played minutes SC Antares got a freekick which was hit by Hamílton Fantini. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandro Falcão to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg José Augusto Koehler managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Laka Futebol Clube's Dudu Sá fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 55 minutes into the match, SC Antares's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Garcia came free, but José Augusto Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Angelo Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Oswaldo Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laka Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Oswaldo Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Augusto Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Garcia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Augusto Koehler, 4-1.
