In the 33rdth minute of the game Fabiano Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pageu's Daniel Fernandes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moisés Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Marques in the 67th minute of play. Sidney Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Patrick Travassos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Corrêa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 74th match minute, Jacuipense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes, Pageu's Ricardinho Abraão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Humberto Corrêa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pageu reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Fabiano Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacuipense's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Fabiano Marques reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniel Fernandes. The goal made the score 3-3. Fabiano Marquess short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Daniel Fernandes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Ediberto Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Jacuipense fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Jacuipense's Fabiano Marques looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Pageu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jacuipense were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
