With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elói Meira in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Martins saved Revolution FC from getting behind. When CF Flamengo's Elói Meira in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Revolution FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Revolution FC's zone, Elói Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Sanches blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Martins having to make a save. In the 26th minute, Elói Meira made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Martins. Revolution FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some careless play in the Revolution FC defense, Lúcio Sanches kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Martins. The Revolution FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Martins should have stopped the shot. Elói Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Martins having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elói Meira in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Martins saved Revolution FC from getting behind. 40 minutes into the game, one of Revolution FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bernardo Martins went to the wrong direction when Jeremias Bezerra was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 43 minutes into the match, CF Flamengo's Lúcio Sanches sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Martins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardo Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

With a little luck, Revolution FC's Bernardo Martins got control of the ball when Lúcio Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line.
