He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Daniel Fernandes. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Fernandes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Laranjal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pageu the free kick. In the 95th minute, Adriano Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Laranjal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pageu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
