Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oswaldo Garcia kicked off to start the match. Oswaldo Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Benjamim Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Miguel Abraão sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Laka Futebol Clube's Angelo Galvão didn't even have to move. Angelo Galvão made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Zézinho de Sena sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Garcia in the 17th minute of play forced Mororos's goalkeeper Benjamim Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zézinho de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Mororos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zézinho de Sena couldn't finish the play. When Laka Futebol Clube's Oswaldo Garcia in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mororos's goalie prevented a goal. If Dida Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laka Futebol Clube's Angelo Galvão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Laka Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dida Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Mororos's Benjamim Sanches got control of the ball when Dudu Sá tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Dudu Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mororos's Benjamim Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Garcia in the 62nd minute of play. Dudu Sá could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Benjamim Sanches made a huge save. Dudu Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zézinho de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Galvão having to interfere. Angelo Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dida Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Benjamim Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Róbson Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Sanches having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Laka Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho de Sena came free, but Angelo Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Laka Futebol Clube's Róbson Azevedo got a free kick in the 90th minute. Mororos's Cafu Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
