When Aírton Netto came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Revolution FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aírton Netto couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raúl Zonta during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Revolution FC's Raúl Zonta got a free kick in the 67th minute. Bernardo Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Sarmento in the 72nd minute of play. Bernardo Martins was a little too slow when Robinho Sarmento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arthur Albuquerque got free with Bernardo Martins in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robinho Sarmento charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robinho Sarmento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, St. Katherine s Docks's Robinho Sarmento got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Revolution FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Martins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Aírton Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Martins acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gonçalo Paranaense. Revolution FC's Bernardo Martins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Revolution FC from getting a goal against them. After 90 minutes of play, St. Katherine s Docks's Arthur Albuquerque made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Martins was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. St. Katherine s Docks walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
