Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elói Meira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Daniel Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Meira in the 3rd minute of the match. Lúcio Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Fernandes having to interfere. When Elói Meira, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 9 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Daniel Fernandes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Geraldo Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Waldir Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pageu's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Elói Meira 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, CF Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Siqueira came free, but Waldir Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugênio Paraíba hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Oswaldo Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Claudinho Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldir Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elói Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lúcio Sanches in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Fernandes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lúcio Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Fernandes having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Pageu got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Mineiro. Thanks to some nice moves Lúcio Sanches could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Daniel Fernandes however easily saved by the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geraldo Siqueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Elói Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pageu's zone, Lúcio Sanches stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Fernandes came out of the goal and Lúcio Sanches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Meira in the 61st minute of play forced Pageu's goalkeeper Daniel Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Meira in the 62nd minute of the match. When Geraldo Siqueira came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Pageu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geraldo Siqueira couldn't finish the play. In the 85thth minute of the game Lúcio Sanches who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pageu's Daniel Fernandes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CF Flamengo's zone, Patrick Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir Ortiz came out of the goal and Patrick Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The CF Flamengo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pageu's performance. The match ended with a win for Pageu.
