Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frédson do Valle started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Thomás Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phantásticos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomás Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Durvalino Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacaubas's supporters rose to their feet, but Durvalino Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bacaubas's Frédson do Valle in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Phantásticos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Duarte Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durvalino Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bacaubas's Frédson do Valle in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Phantásticos FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson do Valle in the 10th minute of play forced Phantásticos FC's goalkeeper Duarte Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Durvalino Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacaubas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durvalino Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duarte Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Durvalino Cordeiro took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte Saldanha. Duarte Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edmundo Félix charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo Félix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Phantásticos FC's Edmundo Félix got a free kick in the 18th minute. Frédson do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durvalino Cordeiro in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Saldanha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the game, Cristiano França was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phantásticos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bacaubas the free kick. 24 minutes into the game, one of Phantásticos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Bacaubas. Dedê Barral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Duarte Saldanha. 0-2. Thomás Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Sampaio having to interfere. Carlinhos Sampaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomás Mendes in the 32nd minute. Duarte Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Cordeiro in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Bacaubas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Félix to maneuver through the defense. Durvalino Cordeiro took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte Saldanha. Duarte Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Durvalino Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Saldanha having to interfere. Bacaubas's Frédson do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evandro Mandrak was the one to do the kick off. When Phantásticos FC's Thomás Mendes in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bacaubas's goalie prevented a goal. Phantásticos FC's Edmundo Félix got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute. The referee ordered Edmundo Félix off the ground. In the 59th match minute, Phantásticos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Félix to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Bacaubas's Dedê Barral tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Duarte Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durvalino Cordeiro in the 68th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durvalino Cordeiro got free with Duarte Saldanha in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Frédson do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Durvalino Cordeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bacaubas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Evandro Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phantásticos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a little luck, Phantásticos FC's Duarte Saldanha got control of the ball when Durvalino Cordeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Durvalino Cordeiro scored 0-5 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duarte Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bacaubas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
