Malwee's Chicão Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Malwee from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Meira in the 5th minute of play forced Malwee's goalkeeper Chicão Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cícero Soares during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, one of Foxman FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Foxman FC. Chicão Torres made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Elder de Toledo sent off a good shot on target. Fernandão Gomes hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Chicão Torres successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Gustavo Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malwee's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandão Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Malwee's Sydney Prestes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernandão Vargas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Foxman FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Magno Hoffmann hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sydney Prestes to make the kick off. Elder de Toledo's late challenge caught a Malwee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elder de Toledo helped the player get up and apologised. If Gustavo Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rubens Meira in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chicão Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 76 minutes of play, Foxman FC's Elder de Toledo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chicão Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 80 played minutes Malwee got a freekick which was hit by Marco Pimenta. Chicão Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Rubens Meira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chicão Torres having to make a save. In the 90thth minute of the game Rubens Meira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malwee's Chicão Torres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sydney Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Rubens Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Malwee players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Foxman FC.
