Hernani Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Foxman FC. Bernardo Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rubens Meira to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rubens Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Meira in the 62nd minute of play. Rubens Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Freire having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Foxman FC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Brodel. Magno Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yan Arruda in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandão Vargas saved Foxman FC from getting behind. 98 minutes into the match, Rubens Meira notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Olaria A.C.'s Hernani Freire. Hernani Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
