Spectators: 7258 (Terracing: 5445, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elói Campidelis started the match with the kick off. Elói Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Pimenta having to interfere. In the 7th minute Elói Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Elói Campidelis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Malhadinho's Enrique Pimenta. Enrique Pimenta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute, Elói Campidelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Pimenta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Elói Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Campidelis in the 25th minute of play forced Malhadinho's goalkeeper Enrique Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé de Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Elói Campidelis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malhadinho's Enrique Pimenta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Christiano Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malhadinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Christiano Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeferson Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elói Campidelis succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Chapecoense's Elói Campidelis got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrique Pimenta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elói Campidelis's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Christiano Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Gilberto Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Chapecoense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Galvão couldn't finish the play. Malhadinho's Enrique Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Campidelis in the 44th minute of play. Elói Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Enrique Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christiano Ferreira to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Elói Campidelis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enrique Pimenta, 0-4. Enrique Pimenta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomé de Toledo went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Christiano Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Vicente Prestes's late challenge caught a Chapecoense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Prestes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chapecoense booed when Malhadinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Urbano tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Enrique Pimenta. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-6 in the 96th minute. Chapecoense played a much better game than Malhadinho and deserved their victory. The Malhadinho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
